Here are some useful tips for viewing virtual events on Tikkl Stream:
Virtual Ticket
The virtual ticket emailed to you contains a Join Event link that will open up a browser tab and take you to the live event page. No logins or codes or URLs required.
Secure Access
Note that each ticket gives you access to a single stream on a single device. If you access the event through a second connection, the first connection will be disconnected after two minutes.
Bandwidth
Before the start of the event, please ensure you have identified the device you will watch on - laptop, tablet, or phone and ensure it has a robust internet connection. The Tikkl Stream event will stream in HD, however the resolution will be automatically adjusted up or down to match your bandwidth capability. The default and recommended setting for Resolution is Auto, but you can click on "Auto” in the top right corner of the player to select a specific bandwidth. The table below gives you the minimum bandwidth required for each playback quality:
Resolution Quality Minimum Bandwidth Required
4K & up 22 Mbps
2K 12 Mbps
1080p 7 Mbps
720p 3 Mbps
360p 1 Mbps
240p 500 Kbps
Best Viewing Experience
For the best viewing experience, we recommend that you connect your device to your TV with HDMI cable to watch on a large screen. And use headphones, if you can, for better audio.
Full Screen
Please tap the "full screen" icon at the bottom right to view in full screen.
Interact / Do Not Disturb
The event organizer may have bulletins, trivia, polls, Q&A sessions and the audience may chat during the event. We invite you to participate in the interactions. However, if you don’t want to be disturbed during the event, click the "bell" icon on top right to activate “Do Not Disturb" mode. You can click it again at any time to resume notifications.
